When people are going through these difficult periods they will look at receiving counselling to help them through.
Counselling, while very helpful in most cases, does not always deal with the exacerbating factors that can cause or maintain the depression.
When depression is brought on by circumstances outside our control, the individual may need direct and practical support with address and bring present problems to a conclusion, so that the person can rebuild themselves and move on.
When this occurs the depressive mood is often reduced or, in some cases, goes away altogether and the person finds themselves in a consistently better frame of mind.
