Here's how I can help.

Sometimes we all need to sit down and talk things through with a friendly face who can help guide you on some of the more complex issues that crop up during our lives but unfortunately opportunities to do so are dwindling with government cuts to face to face support.

It might be that you have a life event that has turned your world upside down, or maybe you are supporting a family member or friend who is facing a difficult situation.

You should always seek out face to face support if you can.

As well as local to you google searches check on your Local Authority website as it will usually contain a list of local service providers who may be able to help you.

Do bear in mind that most services have waiting lists running of 1 to 3 months before they can provide support.

It is also very important to do this if either you yourself have or are supporting someone with a severe mental impairment or are a member of the BAME community as local service providers will be in place in many areas that can provide tailored advocacy support or advice.

The list below is not exhaustive. Remember to google search on specific problems that you are facing, but also be aware of scams or websites asking you for payments for information.

All information and advice is out there in the public domain, there is no need to pay for it unless you are looking for specific tailored one to one support and for many legal issues you may be entitled to legal aid.

Do your research on any organisation offering paid services to make sure they are above board and comply with legal requirements of practice.

Check the small print and seek out reviews and client experiences outside of their website.
